1. Who we are

Wanity.ai is a product of Omnity Digital Private Limited (“Wanity”, “we”, “us”), an AI-powered customer engagement platform built on the WhatsApp Business Platform. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website (wanity.ai) and our platform (app.wanity.ai).

2. Data we collect

Account data: name, business email, phone number, company details, and billing information you provide when creating an account.

Customer conversation data: messages, contacts, and media that flow through your connected WhatsApp numbers. This data belongs to you — we process it solely to provide the service.

Usage data: log data, device information, and product analytics that help us keep the platform reliable and improve it.

3. How we use data

To provide and operate the platform: delivering messages, running automations, powering AI responses from your own knowledge base, and generating analytics.

To comply with law and with the policies of the WhatsApp Business Platform, including the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your customers' conversation data to train models for other customers.

4. Opt-in and opt-out

Businesses using Wanity may only message customers who have given prior opt-in consent, as required by WhatsApp policy. Wanity records the source and timestamp of each opt-in.

End customers can opt out at any time (for example by replying STOP). Opt-outs are enforced automatically across all campaigns and automations.

5. Data security and retention

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access is role-based and audit-logged. We retain data for as long as your account is active or as required by law; you may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under India's DPDP Act and the EU GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@wanity.ai.

7. Third parties

We share data only with processors necessary to run the service (cloud hosting, payment processing, and Meta Platforms, Inc. for message delivery via the WhatsApp Business Platform), under data processing agreements.
